I'm Juliana Albuquerque, a 34 year-old Brazilian who believes in the power of Design, with a capital D.
Collaborating in projects from beginning to end is how I achieve my best performance, from the strategic definitions and research to the design and validation of solutions.
For 4 years, I was the lead designer and owner of a design agency called Salomé, which was specialized in branding strategy and activations, and in interaction design. We grew our team from 2 to 9 people in 3 years, which developed my skills on leading teams and project management.
I have had the opportunity of working with visual design, branding, editorial design and UX design for companies such as Banco do Brasil, Instituto Lixo Zero, Picnik, Net Claro.
I'm also part of Imersão UX, a social project that empowers women and low-income communities by sharing user experience design knowledge through immersive workshops at no cost.
Product designers have the powerful task of helping balance business goals, user needs and technological constraints. And it is only when these three aspects work together that the full potential of services and products can be delivered.
I'm always looking for opportunities to design towards a more just and inclusive world. The bigger the impact, the better.
